The cosmetology industry is an exciting, adventurous and creative field full of color, fashion, and diversity. The instructors in the Kenneth Shuler Cosmetology program pride themselves in helping students acquire the knowledge and necessary skills to enter the field of hair design, nail technology and facial technology. Students will receive all of the tools and books needed to successfully complete the program, including state board application fees. This is valued at more than $2,000.

At KS, students also spend time in the salon clinic, interacting with and servicing guests in a real-world setting. The Salon Clinic is a full-service facility open to the public. It includes a professional reception area, retail shop, and numerous stations.

Cosmetology students are required to complete 1500 hours before they can take their state licensing exam.  Students typically finish the course in 10 to 20 months, depending on the schedule they choose.  For additional information, contact the Admissions Representative nearest you!
