Our Massage Therapy Program is currently offered at our Florence Campus at night.

Program Overview:

  • 650 clock hours in total
  • Massage Theory and Practice: Learn various massage modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, sports) including body mechanics, draping, client assessment, treatment planning, and practical massage techniques to assess and treat musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Anatomy and Physiology: Study the human body’s  structure and function, focusing on the musculoskeletal, circulatory, and nervous systems, and how massage affects physiological processes.
  • Pathology: Understand diseases, disorders, and conditions relevant
    to massage therapy, including contraindications and precautions, to make informed treatment decisions.
  •  Kinesiology: Explore human movement, joint anatomy, muscle actions, and palpation techniques to assess posture, gait, and address musculoskeletal issues through massage.
  • Business and Ethics: Gain training in professional ethics,
    therapeutic relationships, communication, and business practices necessary for operating a massage practice.
  • Clinical Practice: Apply learned skills through supervised hands-on
    experience providing massage services to the public.
