This school is situated in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Spartanburg area – less than an hour away from Asheville, North Carolina, and conveniently located near a handful of smaller towns in upstate South Carolina. 

Our fully licensed instructors work closely with you in both the classroom and student salon as you practice your skills and gain real-world experience. At Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology, we’re dedicated to educating the next generation of beauty gurus and will make sure you receive the best education, training, and business acumen to have a long and successful career in the beauty or wellness industries.

Tia Thackston Phillips, an educator and our Student Salon Manager at our Spartanburg campus has been awarded with the 2023 N.F. Cimaglia Educator of the Year award (presented by our national association, AACS, and Milady)! We are so incredibly proud to have faculty and staff that always rise to the occasion and consistently give all they can to help future cosmetologists and estheticians to grow into successful professionals.
