For the past two years, Kenneth Shuler Schools of Cosmetology has had the privilege of being the Presenting Sponsor of Wine, Dine and Design, which is a high-end charity fashion show that benefits The Walker Foundation (the fundraising arm for the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind, which serves all 46 counties of the state). We are again the Presenting Sponsor of this very special event in 2014 and hope that you will be willing to come on board to help us support this worthy cause.
For more than 165 years, the SC School for the Deaf and the Blind has provided the highest quality educational and enrichment programs to children 0 to 21 years of age who are challenged with a hearing and/or visual impairment, including children who are multi-handicapped with disabilities such as down syndrome, autism and more. In addition to their residential program in Spartanburg, the SCSDB serves more than 1,400 students in 65 school districts across the state.
This year’s Wine, Dine and Design will be held on Thursday, October 2nd at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center and will feature designers from all over South Carolina. Our fundraising goal is $100,000 and we need your help to reach this target.
This charity event is a great opportunity to mix and mingle with other prestigious and generous individuals while enjoying a night of fabulous fashion, delicious cocktails/dinner, and an exclusive silent auction featuring the artistic talents of students from the SCSDB. We are also excited to have Nashville country artist and Lancaster, SC native Julie Roberts serve as our celebrity guest emcee.
