Cosmetology Program
Our cosmetology program focuses on color techniques, Redken cutting systems, state board preparation, and ProsperU’s business training.
- Learn haircutting, color, texture services, nail care, makeup application, retail knowledge, business developmental skills, and knowledge on how to gain/retain clients, and maximize earning potential through ProsperU business training.
- Required 1500 hours of training (can be completed in less than 12 months).
- Students receive customized tool kits that include tablets for online learning and other essential tools for their use throughout cosmetology school and beyond.
- We offer assistance for students seeking licensure in neighboring states, such as Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia.
Esthetics Program
We teach our students using a variety of industry-leading products from partners like Dermalogica, Circadia, and more. Our clinics are outfitted with equipment that can be found in spas and skincare facilities across the country.
- Learn intimate knowledge of the skin and skincare, facials, waxing, lash application, brow tinting, light therapy, microdermabrasion, makeup application, retail knowledge, business developmental skills, and knowledge on how to gain/retain clients, and maximize earning potential through ProsperU business training.
- Required 600 hours of training (can be completed in less than 6 months.)
- Students receive a customized esthetics kit that includes tablets for online learning and essential tools such as make-up, eyelash products, a wax kit, and state board testing essentials.
- We offer assistance for students seeking licensure in neighboring states, such as Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia.

Salon, Spa and Barbershop owners and managers today want to hire trained, business-savvy professionals. Through this program, we teach you the business skills such as networking, marketing, client management, and so much more.

Financial Aid Coordinator on Site
All of our campuses have a financial aid coordinator on staff to assist students. We know that the
financial aid process can be confusing and overwhelming, that’s why our team on-site is available to walk you step-by-step through the process.
State Board Exam Fees
You won’t want to worry about covering the cost of your State Boards once your training is over. That’s why we cover the state board exam fees when we help you sign up for the licensure examination.
Student Kits
Our student kits are crafted to help transition you from the classroom to the salon/spa. We continually assess and update our kits to stay abreast of industry trends. Each student receives a kit tailored to their enrolled program, along with an iPad to aid in assignment completion and access to current trends and supplemental materials online. Please note that the contents of the Student Kits are regularly reviewed by our education team and may be subject to change.

We also offer the Jump Start Scholarship for qualifying high school graduates. We cannot guarantee that all students will get an aid package that covers all their expenses.
- Quality Education Tools: Our students receive a comprehensive kit that is continuously evaluated to ensure they have the tools they need to succeed while in school and as licensed professionals. Unlike other schools, we provide five mannequin heads in your kit, including specialized options for textured hair and male grooming, along with support for state board exams.
- Licensure Assistance: We are here to help you get licensed, which is why we will register you and pay for your state board exam fees. Additionally, we offer assistance for students seeking licensure in neighboring states, such as North Carolina, Georgia, or Tennessee, further expanding your career opportunities.
