We’re thrilled to share some momentous news that marks a new chapter in the Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology journey! That’s right, in late 2024, Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology we will be expanding with the opening of a brand new and expansive location off of I-26 in West Columbia, SC!
Prime Location – Opposite Lexington Medical Center
The new Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology location will be strategically positioned across from Lexington Medical Center and the intersection of I-26 and Hwy 378. This new location offers plenty of food options for our students, easy access to main SC interstates, and a growing community in West Columbia.
Consolidation of Current Columbia Locations
With the opening of this new location, we want to share that our two current Columbia locations on Garners Ferry Road and St. Andrews Road will be closing. We are merging these locations into the upcoming West Columbia facility to create a unified hub to serve the Midlands.
Diverse Programs in a New Facility
Spanning over 30,000 square feet, our new location will host a variety of programs designed to ignite creativity and passion:
- Cosmetology: Master the art of hairstyling in an environment that encourages artistic expression.
- Esthetics: Delve into the science and art of skincare, discovering techniques to enhance natural beauty and maintain healthy, radiant skin.
- *Barbering: Currently pending approval, hone your skills in precision haircuts, facial hair grooming, and the classic art of barbering, blending tradition with innovation.
- *Massage Therapy: While currently pending approval, we’re excited to announce that Massage Therapy will soon become part of our program lineup, adding a new dimension to our offerings.
*Currently not approved, but will be offered once approved by state, accreditor, and federal levels.
